As Director of Nursing (DON) , you will be responsible for the overall quality clinical outcomes of the hospital. Our primary focus will be on delivering quality care, exceptional customer service, and fostering positive employee relations. In addition, regulatory management,  attracting and retaining top performing talented team members as well as the supervision and career coaching of existing team members on staff.

We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the clinical team at our hospital. The successful DON will be responsible for managing all aspects of nursing  care for the hospital. Must  value safety, security and patient wellness above all else. We strive to provide the best care possible while ensuring patient satisfaction in every interaction. The Director of Nursing is responsible for making sure those values are reflected in their staff at all times.

Full-time benefits commence on the first day of the month following your start date.

• Supports the practices, philosophy, nursing objectives, and standards of the Nursing Department. Participates in revising these items as needed to ensure quality care for all patients.
• Ensures the implementation of a patient/resident care planning process in accordance with patient needs, facility policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, leadership, and motivational skills.
• Capable of effectively organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks.
• Demonstrates a commitment to enhancing the lives of patients and staff.
• 4+ years of experience as a Director of Nursing, DON (LTACH experience preferred) - must have stable work history, dedication and commitment to lead our healthcare team.
• RN (Registered Nurse) in state of residency, BSN a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain positive employee and community relationships.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Excellent computer skills coupled with the ability and willingness to learn new systems.
• Knowledge of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices and procedures.
• Ability to follow all applicable policies and procedures as well as current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern acute care hospitals.
• Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required.
