Description

The Human Resources team at Oracle is seeking a dynamic leader to drive the success of our Early In Career (EIC) talent programs within Oracle Engineering. This is a unique opportunity to build on your leadership and business skills, gain an end-to-end view of the HR organization, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the business and HR functions.

As the leader of the EIC team, you will own the strategy and execution of programs designed to attract, onboard, and retain college talent globally. EIC talent is critical to Oracle's growth, culture, workforce diversity, and leadership development. You will develop best-in-class programs and continuously improve the EIC experience by incorporating feedback from key stakeholders and working closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, and business partners.

Oracle Engineering hires over 2,000 Early In Career employees globally each year. You will be responsible for leading the development of new programs that enhance the onboarding process and first-year development for early-career talent. This role involves leading a globally dispersed team of Program Managers and providing day-to-day coaching, while also leading by example through direct engagement with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading Early Career talent development programs with measurable outcomes. You must be data-driven, detail-oriented, and possess excellent problem-solving skills. Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and driving them to successful outcomes in ambiguous environments is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure seamless end-to-end experiences across the EIC candidate lifecycle, including but not limited to onboarding, technical and leadership training, and community building.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between University Recruitment, HR, and the Business teams, leading through influence and coordinating EIC initiatives globally.
  • Periodically report to the Engineering HR Leadership Team on program health, goal tracking, and updates. This includes running executive meetings and providing hiring team updates.
  • Lead a strong, globally dispersed EIC Programs team, enabling the scale and adoption of EIC talent across geographies.
  • Hold the EIC team accountable for results, managing performance through 1:1s, check-ins, performance assessments, and annual reviews. Foster an inclusive, engaging, and motivating work environment.
  • Develop change management strategies for program implementation, including identifying key stakeholders, approaches, and communication plans.
  • Lead the execution of EIC programs with precision and rigor. Develop new methods and tools to ensure consistent realization of program goals.
  • Ensure high data hygiene across the EIC program portfolio. Oversee timely and high-quality reporting to drive business decisions.
  • Partner with other early career programs to align strategies, share best practices, and drive global success in early career initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

  • 10+ years of experience as part of a progressive HR team at a high-tech company.
  • Self-directed HR and/or Talent Acquisition leader with prior experience in an Engineering environment.
  • Experience managing Early Career talent programs or similar talent development programs.
  • Expertise in EIC processes and program management.
  • Strong systems thinking, coupled with excellent program and project management skills, with the ability to scale programs globally.
  • Proven execution excellence, attention to detail, and follow-through. Ability to drive multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Success in collaborating with multiple stakeholders to achieve consensus and results, building trust and credibility with HR and business teams.
  • Strong team player with exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working effectively with geographically distributed teams.
  • Ability to engage with all levels of the organization and lead presentations to executive leadership.
