Director, Wellness and Assisted Living Program - Las Vegas, NV

Director of Wellness and Assisted Living identifies and monitors the needs of residents in Assisted Living levels of care coordinating with Wellness Department, Health Center, and Resident Review Committee, while maintaining the Assisted Living department in regulatory compliance by providing administrative oversight of staff. Other key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Providing innovative and visionary leadership to elevate wellness and assisted living programs in a person-directed environment.
    • Assessing needed level of care for new residents by interviewing and completing assessment tools.
    • Making special assessments of resident care needs when significant changes are noted which may lead to level of care change or adjustment as needed.
    • Providing input to the Resident Review Committee in order to evaluate status of residents who have been having difficulties; confers on measures for assisting or intervening.
    • Actively participating in Resident Review Committee and coordinating follow-up and assessment activities related to psycho-social needs of residents in Assisted Living levels of care.
    • Overseeing compliance with all Residential facility for groups regulations and resident activities and programming to assure that resident needs as well as regulatory requirements are being met.
    • Coordinating and supervising the Residential Plus Program.
    • Ensuring appropriate coordination of resident moves between levels of care.

 

Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000 Depending on Experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • At least 5 years prior related experience, 2 of which is in long term nursing or acute care and includes at least 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Licensed Registered Nurse preferred
  • LVN, LPN in NV required 
  • RESIDENTIAL FACILITY ADMINISTRATOR (RFA)
  • Current CPR certified
  • Valid Drivers’ License
