DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital, one of the premier veterinary hospitals in the country, is hiring a Director of Major and Planned Giving to join our leadership team!

As the Director of Major and Planned Giving, you are a seasoned, strategic, and successful fundraising professional who will position DoveLewis as the leading philanthropic destination for individuals seeking to make large-scale investments in animal health and veterinary medicine in the Pacific Northwest. You will be a leader within the Development Team and will oversee the expansion of individual giving programs to significantly increase funding for charity care, endowments, capital, education, and animal health services. You and your team will focus on increasing giving levels among existing donors and creating a new pool of potential donors in collaboration with the Board of Directors, Executive team, and Development staff to achieve ambitious revenue goals for major and estate gifts. You will also manage and coach a small team of fundraisers.
This position is located onsite in Portland, Oregon and may require attending meetings and functions during evenings and weekends periodically.
