The opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Director of Web Experience, the Web Operations Manager oversees the management of website content, content management system (CMS), and operational processes to ensure the SNHU web properties are efficient, compliant, and aligned with best practices—all while maintaining a high-quality user experience. This multifaceted, remote role encompasses multiple responsibilities spanning content management, process optimization, and team management. #LI-Remote
What you'll do:
Content Management: Manages website content, imagery and forms.
Quality Assurance: Assist with quality assurance of all web properties.
Publishing: Publishes content in staging and production environments.
Architecture: Maintains the information architecture in the Content Management System.
Manage Workflow Efficiency and Feedback: Approve CMS user’s work and analyze it for accuracy, efficiency, and consistency This includes providing technical feedback and recommendations for web and content management experience.
Best practices CMS: Responsible for the Content Management System and users observing best practices and that all advancements are scalable, efficient, and provide an user experience to content editors.
Best practices Web: Ensures all site changes follow Web Best Practices – including technical best practices.
Accessibility: Collaborate with accessibility experts and partners to ensure compliance standards are met (including ADA/WCAG compliance). Including ensuring technical accessibility and partnering with the development team.
Compliance: Ensures compliance standards being met (including ADA/WCAG and institutional and programmatic compliance).
Drive Efficient Process:
Organize/Prioritize Requests: Ensure that content requests from internal and external departments from across the university are completed.
Support: Supports the institution and all its units on content-related issues, ensuring content is on brand, accurate, current, and represents the character of the university.
Process Optimization: Research potential optimizations for the web operations process focused on efficiency.
Partnership and Collaboration: Partners with partners across the university to ensure brand experience, lead capture, maintenance of content.
Partner with user experience experts to ensure brand experience and improved lead capture.
Partner with Creative and SEO teams to improve the content of the website for our search engines to ensure reachability and navigability on the website.
Collaborate with CRO and Developers to improve, design, test system changes, controls, functionality, and design.
Builds Teams:
Manage web operations team members daily work and training.
Ensure all content editors have a sound understanding of the CMS, web best practices, and compliance requirements.
Participate in department strategic planning.
Attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential functions of this role.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
What we're looking for:
Years of experience: Four years’ experience working with a Content Management System and two years working with in the Sitecore Content Management System. Four years working with HTML and CSS.
Degree(s): Bachelor’s degree
Professional Certification(s): N/A
Current member of the Web Operations Team
Experience with CMS functionality and workflows.
Experience with Google web analytics.

Compensation
The annual pay range for this position is $75,528.00 - $120,865.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $83,457.00 - $112,912.00.Exceptional benefits (because you’re exceptional)
