Responsibilities

The Regional Director is responsible for directing multiple initiatives spanning assigned locations and subject areas. The position takes a hands-on approach to assertively manage all aspects of major initiatives, including working with the local leadership teams to define and adhere to scope, lead and present in meetings, manage work products and plans, and ensure successful completion of initiatives. The position is responsible for grasping the subject matter and applying operating principles to proposed solutions, while working communities, as assigned.

A licensed nurse (RN or LPN) who participates in the development and implementation of the Company’s philosophies. 

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials, and State representatives.
  • Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual.
  • Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.
  • Computer-Intermediate word and data processing, spreadsheet
  • Negotiation and conflict management skills
  • Business skills-budgeting, soft sales, marketing
  • Coaching/mentoring/development
  • Experience with financial reporting and managing multiple budgets.
  • Works closely with key personnel and subject matter experts across all departments to ensure coordinated management of integration project activities.
  • Develops operational and system workflows to analyze and recommend business process redesign and enhancements.
  • Track and report on project status including schedule and scope adherence, risks and issues.
  • Provide input on, and support for, the implementation of strong clinical systems that result in the highest quality of care.
  • Function as a clinical resource to the nursing administration team at each community
  • Provide support during the survey process including pre-survey preparation and developing performance improvement plans post survey if necessary
  • Collects, reviews and analyzes clinical outcome data and determines trends. Brings identified concerns to the Quality Assurance committee for development of appropriate plans of action at the community and regional level
  • May perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • A registered nurse or licensed practical nurse licensed to practice as required by State Regulations.
  • Core Certified
  • 3-5 years multi-site experience preferred.
  • 5 years of leadership preferred.
  • Experience in direct patient care and assessments/observation of clinical conditions.
  • Proficient experience in Independent, Assisted Living, and Memory Care preferred.
  • CPR certified and knowledge of basic first aid.
  • Must complete all state required training to maintain licensure or certification.
  • Must live or be willing to relocate to the Bradenton/Sarasota FL Area.
  • Able to work flexible work hours due to demands of position.
  • Occasional weekend/MOD work.
  • Must pass background check and drug screen
