Position Summary
The Youth Housing Director leads the training, supervision, and oversight of youth housing programs for youth experiencing homelessness ages 18-24 out of the Youth Resource Center. This position plays a key role in overseeing the innovative Youth Homeless Demonstration Programs, bringing creativity and best practices together with the lived expertise of individuals from the SLCounty Youth Action Board. The Director ensures all programs operate in compliance with contractual commitments and align with the mission and policies of Volunteers of America, Utah. Programs under the Director’s leadership include Youth Rapid Rehousing, Youth Permanent Supportive Housing, Tenant-Based Rental Assistance, and privately funded initiatives. This role is critical in identifying service gaps and expanding evidence-based housing options for youth experiencing homelessness in our community.
