The Director of Technology will lead technology based projects to develop the plans and specifications primarily for K-12 and Higher Education projects. This role is responsible for leading the project aspects of the Division 27 and 28 scopes of work. They will be the liaison with the owner and the Architectural team for gathering information and coordinating with the engineering team.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field (master’s degree preferred).
• Previous experience as a director, or similar leadership role.
• Broad knowledge of software engineering: languages, frameworks, techniques, and industry trends.
• Experience leading complex, major changes and initiatives; demonstrated skills in change management on an organizational and interpersonal level; experience with integrating teams across multiple business units and managing a geographically dispersed workforce.
• Experience designing and managing an effective IT governance framework across the spectrum of IT service delivery.

The actual offered base salary for California locations will vary depending on factors such as individual qualifications, education, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, work location, and internal equity. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role will be at or near the top half of the range provided, but the decision will be dependent on the factors of each individual case. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation in the form of discretionary bonuses in addition to base salary and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
