Role: Senior Manager, HR Operations Americas

Location: Must be based in Eastern US Time Zone (Remote) with occasional travel to NJ/NY office

Job Summary

The Senior Manager of HR Operations is responsible for managing the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring accurate and timely execution of all HR functions, including Onboarding, the employee lifecycle, supporting international payroll and HRIS and records management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR operations, a deep understanding of HR best practices, and the ability to lead and improve HR operational processes while ensuring alignment with company policies and strategic objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

1. Technology Administration and Support

  • Serve as the primary system administrator for Dayforce and Oracle Fusion and monitor use for the Americas countries.
  • Oversee user access requests, compliance audits, troubleshooting, bug escalations, and enhancement requests.
  • Collaborate with HRIS, IT and vendors to manage system integrations and security protocols across the HR tech stack.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process automation, self-service solutions, and improved candidate and employee experiences.

2. Data, Reporting, and Analytics

  • Ensure the accuracy of system data and generate regular reports to deliver key metrics and actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Works with the Vice President and with Shared Services to translate trends and data into strategic recommendations for process improvements in Talent Acquisition and HR operations.
  • Support compliance and audit processes by maintaining data integrity and documentation across all systems.

3. Onboarding

  • With the Vice President manage vendor relationships, performance, and accountability for systems and tools (HRIS, payroll, background and drug testing vendors, etc.).
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders and stakeholders to implement company-wide changes in processes, tools, and experiences for candidates and employees.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to develop and execute system training and change management plans for end users, recruiters, hiring managers, and employees.

4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with HR teams, management, and legal advisors to align compliance objectives with business strategies.
  • Serve as a point of contact for the employee cycle: Pre-boarding, Onboarding, Employee Events, Transfers, Terminations and Retirement.
  • Work closely with payroll and benefits teams to ensure regulatory compliance in compensation practices.

 

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in HR Operations, HR Business Partnering or Compensation & Benefits.
  • Solid project management experience, having planned, developed, communicated and deployed company-wide HR, HR Business Partnering and HRIS Initiatives.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent communication (verbal & written) and presentation skills.
  • Must possess business acumen and market insight, with a strong sense of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Analytical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to identify, design, and execute impactful solutions to key recruiting pain points, from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Ability to lead change management for new tools, processes, and policies to ensure company-wide adoption and adherence.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze and format data to produce attractive, informative, and readable reports and presentations that are accentuated, where appropriate, by meaningful and insightful tables or charts.
  • Ability to solution for complex global multi-language configuration challenges.

  • Managing project cycles with the use of sound project management disciplines.
  • Timeliness and accuracy of statutory reporting.
  • Process optimization and documentation.

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to: location and experience. The base salary range listed is just one component of EXL's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, as well as a Paid Time Off policy, and many region specific benefits.
