As the Senior Director, Marketplace Operations Suite, you will play a critical part in driving strategic development and operational stabilization. You will focus on enhancing scalable growth, optimizing governance models, and strengthening product and operational maturity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support go-to-market initiatives, client engagement, and regulatory strategy—ensuring we remain positioned for success in the evolving ACA Marketplace landscape.
You will report to the VP, ACA Market Strategy.
The base salary range is $188,000-$240,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, and experience. Enable Strategic Growth & Stability: Spearhead long-term strategies that ensure scalable growth, enhance operational efficiency, and increase synergy across teams
Drive Go-to-Market & Client Engagement Initiatives: Partner with leadership to shape GTM strategy, contribute to RFIs/RFPs and on-site meetings, and refine client messaging to strengthen market positioning. Support key accounts, prioritize client needs, and bridge business and technical teams. Provide SME-level insights and communicate regulatory and product requirements between clients and developers
Strengthen Product & Operational Maturity: Identify stabilization challenges, shape short- and long-term roadmaps, and translate client needs into relevant product enhancements
Monitor Regulatory Trends & Industry Evolution: Stay on top of CMS/SBM regulations, track industry shifts, attend industry conferences, and assess emerging trends to inform strategic decision-making and market positioning
Mentor: While you will not have direct reports at the onset, there is potential for managerial responsibilities in the future. In the interim, the expectation is to mentor team members, share expertise, and help strengthen overall team capabilities
Lead Audit Readiness: Develop an audit readiness framework to ensure completion of external audits (e.g., SOC 2, carrier, CMS) in partnership with Operations..
4+ years of in-depth knowledge of Carrier operations, with special emphasis on supporting Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace business in the enrollment, billing, and reconciliation of Qualified Health Plans (QHPs)
7+ years of in-depth knowledge of ACA Marketplace regulations, inclusive of technical and operational sub-regulatory guidance
4+ years of in-depth expertise in product & operational stabilization, including strong analytical skills to assess current product challenges and contribute to sustainable solutions
Experience supporting policy development, SOPs, and governance models to enhance operational efficiency
Ability to understand complex challenges and recommend solutions to difficult problems
