Job Summary 

The Program Manager of Operations serves as the primary liaison between the organization and providers in our network. This role is critical in supporting performance improvement discussions and facilitating problem-solving around the ACO’s key strategic initiatives and operating metrics. The Program Manager will work closely with provider partners to assess their performance within the program, identify opportunities for improvement, and align their efforts with organizational goals. The ideal candidate combines strong relationship management skills with a deep understanding of healthcare operations. 

 

Essential Job Functions 

  • Act as the main point of contact for providers in the network, fostering strong and collaborative relationships. 

  • Facilitate performance improvement discussions, ensuring alignment with ACO strategic initiatives and metrics. 

  • Analyze provider performance data to identify areas of improvement and develop targeted strategies for success. 

  • Coordinate with internal teams to provide resources and support tailored to individual provider needs. 

  • Conduct regular meetings with providers to review performance metrics, address concerns, and provide guidance. 

  • Monitor progress on provider-specific action plans and report on outcomes to leadership. 

  • Ensure compliance with program guidelines and regulatory requirements while supporting provider success. 

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of operational best practices within the organization. 

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies 

  • Strong relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and engagement with providers. 

  • Analytical skills to interpret performance metrics and translate findings into actionable strategies. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). 

  • Knowledge of ACO operations, value-based care models, and healthcare regulatory requirements. 

  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple provider relationships simultaneously. 

  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset. 

Qualifications

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (required). 

  • 3-5 years of experience in program management, healthcare operations, or provider relations (preferred). 

  • Familiarity with ACO REACH and value-based care programs (a plus). 

Physical Requirements 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 

  • Remote working environment 

  • Potential travel required; 40%-50% per month. 

  • Lifting, carrying, and setting up marketing items – weighing up to 35 lbs.
