Job Summary

The Program Manager - Genius within Pricing & Genius unit is the person responsible for supporting the Director Product and strategic Genius initiatives in 1) Program oversight and critical stakeholder management,  2) coordinating the successful execution of Genius programs, and  3) monitoring and/or driving strategic activities around the main business priorities, while serving as a sounding board in important situations. 

The Program Manager - Genius is critical to the success of the business unit, being accountable for ensuring right topics are being worked on, all priority projects are well coordinated, and that results are achieved in line with the strategy; also contributing to the creation and execution of the longer-term vision and strategy. The role has a strong influence over the entire scope of the unit and is able to steer the direction of the different teams and align them around achieving business unit goals.

B.Responsible

  • Work with the Director of Genius to evolve the existing Genius loyalty program (90% time)

    • Supports the creation of the vision and strategy with the objective to grow our loyalty programs, as measured by transactional, supply and loyal customer growth
    • Structures and coordinates execution of operational and strategic plans by managing key stakeholders, facilitating collaboration cross-business units and org, and represent the core goals and outcomes set out by Genius
    • Provides consultation to the Director of Genius in order to exercise and implement control over the performance of the track to achieve program/business goals
    • Ensures that roadmaps/plans focus on agreed business priorities, dependencies and strategies, and they deliver against the shared objectives and main activities with key milestones that have been set by the Director of Genius and Pricing LT.
    • Advises and gives opinion in order to specify new products, processes, standards or operational plans, based upon the business strategy
    • Works with different teams (e.g. FP&A, Product, Tech, Marketing, Operations) on the launch of new products and campaigns & coaches functional teams on new ways of doing business and influence them for a sustainable shift in behaviors and mindsets
    • Works, coordinates and collaborates  with teams across the Booking organization
    • Contributes to improving key processes, to secure accountability for each critical project
    • Work collaboratively with business unit partners and corporate support teams to drive Genius strategy execution and partner on segment or functional strategy projects.

 

B.Skilled

  • Proven track record with 5+ years in project management or business development roles. 
  • Skilled in business planning and project management, including project scoping, hypotheses development, financial and business modeling, strategic options identification, consensus building, and implementation. Expertise in technology, ideally in e-commerce, retail, payments, and/or consumer/partner facing products is highly desirable. 
  • Ability to learn fast and adapt to a fast moving environment.
  • The ability to “see around corners” and “connect the dots” that enable business to proactively drive business, not just respond to it.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration in a highly matrixed and complex environment. Capable of managing multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.
  • Self starter and problem solver, the candidate must have ownership and accountability in DNA. 
  • Must be an independent thinker with excellent judgment and Strong interpersonal skills, along with flexibility and positive attitude
  • Strong ability to distill strategy/vision into plans,  and required actions clearly and simply. 
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels (from Board members to entry level employees)
  • Fluent in English. Superior written and verbal communication skills.
