  • Shape the Customer Experience: Serve as a pre-sales technical consultant when needed, showcasing our solutions' capabilities.
  • Take part in a support rotation for existing customers: At Varnish Software, we embrace a collaborative approach through an 8x5 support rotation, delivering exceptional customer support while providing you with hands-on opportunities to broaden your expertise and tackle diverse technical challenges.


What You Bring

  • 3-5 years of DevOps experience, within a Git structured team environment. 
  • Strong Linux expertise (Red Hat and/or Debian based distributions).
  • Proficiency with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and configuration management (e.g., Ansible and Terraform).
  • Solid understanding of web performance, scalability, HTTP, TCP/IP, and DNS.
  • Experience with scripting, in languages such as bash, python, and Golang is a plus.
  • Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).


Bonus Skills

  • Experience with Varnish Cache and its configuration language.
  • Knowledge of CDN operations and web security tools (e.g., WAF).
  • Comfort with technical presentations and customer-facing engagements.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, with a focus on ISP operations, routing, peering, and traffic optimization.
  • Experience working with large-scale network architectures and troubleshooting performance issues in high-traffic environments.
