Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Ground-based Interceptor Maintenance Manager (GMM) / Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Operations Controller Mid-Level Mission Operations Specialist to be a member of a small operations site team that provides 24/7/365 day a year support for the FGA Operations Support Center located in Ft. Greely, Alaska.

Position Responsibilities:

  • GMM/HMI Operator and Operations Support Center Controller Maintains Configuration Control, and Monitors System Health and Status of the Ground Missile Defense (GMD) System Components supporting the Missile Defense Agency and War-fighter community.
  • GMM/HMI Operator and Operations Support Controller Works with Local Maintenance Support Teams with System Coordination Leadership located at the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center at Schriever SFB, Colorado.
  • GMM/HMI Operator/and Operations Support Center Works 24/7/365 on a rotational schedule with incentives for shifts and weekends. Overtime is a requirement for this position.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CompTIA Security + Certification may be required to support GMM Operations.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Vandenberg SFB, CA.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability and willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Current CompTIA Security+ Certification
  • Prior Military Service
  • 1 year or more experience working with a government customer.
  • 1 year or more experience working in a Command and Control Center.
  • 1 year or more planning and executing maintenance activities.

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years of related work experience, 9 years of related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
