Job Description:
The Manager, RCM Global Coding Operations, will be responsible for overseeing the shared services of offshore production coders in collaboration with the offshore leadership team. This role will report to the RCM Coding Director and will manage the production, benchmarks and quality of the shared services of offshore production coders supporting the practice pods.
Responsibilities:
Manage the Shared Services offshore production coding team in collaboration with the offshore leadership team, including developing policies and procedures and ensuring corporate compliance with coding guidelines.
Routinely review QA audit feedback from the Coding Quality Assurance team, and ensure compliance with company policies and coding principles.
Act as a resource for coding escalations and questions from the offshore team including billing policy requirements.
Communicate any coding trends or other issues identified by the team with leadership.
Establish team benchmarks for productivity and perform staffing adjustment recommendations, as needed, due to growth or addition of providers.
Identify coaching and process improvement opportunities within the team.
Provide expertise and guidance to the supervisors and staff.
Manage employee relations issues including hiring, discipline, coaching and performance evaluations.
Stay informed on HCC, Coding and Billing guidelines on a national scale and disseminate information to the team.
Collaborate with the Coding CoE leadership team on trends and issues identified in documentation, production coding or other areas.
Maintain open communication with other RCM managers, Clinical staff, and offshore leadership.
Strive to meet established KPI metrics. Report monthly benchmarks to leadership
Perform other duties as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.

Qualifications:
CPC, CCS-P or other coding certification required.
Extensive knowledge of insurance payer guidelines and medical policies.
Knowledge of ICD10, CPT and HCPCS codes required.
Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
3+ years of experience in a community oncology setting preferred.
5+ years of RCM healthcare experience required including coding and/or billing required.
3+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
Experience working with offshore teams is highly desirable.
