The Staff Pad is seeking an IT Director in Las Vegas, New Mexico. The IT Director oversees the daily operations, functions, and activities of the Information Services Department, including both clinical and non-clinical software applications, hardware, and systems. This role ensures compliance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The IT Director provides training and education for staff and actively participates in collaborative efforts and performance improvement initiatives to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct the daily operations of the Information Services Department, ensuring smooth functioning of clinical and non-clinical IT systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems.
- Provide training and education to staff to optimize the use of IT systems and tools.
- Actively participate in performance and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify, implement, and monitor quality improvement initiatives.
- Establish and maintain best practices to ensure system security, data integrity, and operational reliability.
- Foster a culture of innovation and adaptability within the department.
Position Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in Information Systems, preferably in a medical system environment.
