CityCom Health is a new business (wholly owned by a publicly traded energy company) dedicated to providing affordable and comprehensive healthcare insurance solutions to individuals and families. We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our insurance operations and drive growth and success in our organization.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our insurance business. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of affordable care insurance, Medicare insurance, and other medical offerings, as well as experience in call center operations and sales. The General Manager will be responsible for coordinating with FMOs (Field Marketing Organizations), sales teams, technology solutions, and corporate management to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of business strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Manage and coordinate with FMOs, sales teams, and other stakeholders to ensure effective sales and marketing efforts
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, including insurance carriers, technology providers, and other industry stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Manage and optimize call center operations, including staffing, training, and performance metrics
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Collaborate with corporate management to develop and implement business plans and strategies
  • Manage and control budgets and expenses to ensure profitability
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on affordable care insurance, Medicare insurance, and other medical offerings
  • Proven track record of success in call center operations and sales management
  • Strong understanding of insurance products and regulations
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

  • Cost Containment, Reduction & Optimization: Ability to identify and implement cost-saving measures and optimize operations
  • Carrier Appointment Negotiations: Ability to negotiate and secure carrier appointments and contracts
  • Contracting: Ability to develop and manage contracts with insurance carriers and other industry stakeholders
  • Agency Compliance: Ability to ensure compliance with agency regulations and guidelines, including HIPAA, ACA, and state-specific regulations
