PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Since 1891, Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco (BGCSF) has provided high-quality, community-based youth development services to youth in San Francisco and beyond. The Education Director has general responsibility for programs that support members’ success in school and is directly responsible to the Education Liaison. The Coordinator shall plan, organize, direct and control the program and maintenance of programs related to homework completion, tutoring, and academic mentoring within the policies of the organization. The Coordinator shall assume accountability for the results in achieving the outlined goals and objectives of the Education Program.
This is an in person, hands on role, so prospective candidates should expect to be present at Clubs everyday.

Education Department Duties – 75%
Day to Day Duties – 25%

Monday - Thursday: 11:00am - 6:00pm
Fridays : 12:00pm -6:00pm

Pay:
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and BGCSF needs. At BGCSF, our decisions are based on other factors and dependent on circumstances for each position. Depending on the need and requirement of the position, an individual could be hired at or near the entry level, mid - level or top of the range for their role and compensation. As such, a reasonable estimate of the current range is $28-31 per hour.
