Essential Responsibilities
• Directs, develops, and implements strategic plans to achieve sales targets ensuring the sales, gross margin & EBITDA performance is met.
• Develops targeted account lists and goals and assists Territory Service Managers (TSMs) in securing new accounts while developing targeted opportunities for Account Managers (AMs) and Customer Service Representatives (CSRs).
• Facilitates market intelligence flow between internal departments.
• Establishes a relationship with the management of the top Region Independent customers.
• Fills in for representatives during periods of absence, working directly with the customer as necessary to ensure continuity of business and service.
• Responds to specific customer requests regarding matching competition relative to pricing using financial and customer information, evaluating for profitability and customer standing.
• Assists with operational issues for trade shows, providing input and staffing.
• Develops clear and defined procedures for implementing and executing the established programs and makes necessary changes when needed.
• Conducts performance reviews and gives guidance to direct reports, recommending wage adjustments as warranted.
• Addresses and resolves any concerns from the field or forwards to the appropriate company department to ensure customer needs are met and company objectives
are upheld.
• Actively participates in Pro Dealer management meetings and works with the Regional Vice President of Pro Dealer to establish/update departmental policies and procedures for dealing with customers.
• Approves and monitors Outside Sales force expenses and addresses issues where necessary to control sales and travel expense costs.
• Provides advice and direction to the TSM’s and TAM’s on dealing with customer situations and problems; provides technical information regarding products,
involving purchasing personnel for their expertise, as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience in Leadership with history of direction and development of subordinates.
• Functional understanding of business principles and supply chain management.
• Capability to communicate efficiently with all levels of employees, management, customers, and vendors both verbally and in written form.
• Capacity to multi-task with speed and accuracy while prioritizing tasks and ability to maintain excellent organizational skills.
• Must possess and maintain a valid State-appropriate driver’s license, unrestricted other than for vision correction, with a satisfactory driving record.
• Execution of a Non-Compete/Confidentiality Agreement is required.
Travel Requirements
Willingness and ability to travel on a limited basis, as the position requires.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This position will require the employee to sit nearly 80% of the time. In addition, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position may require the employee to lift 50 lbs or less.
