As Director of SMB (Small and Medium Businesses), you will be instrumental in shaping the future of SellCord’s relationships with SMB clients. Your leadership will drive impactful strategies, ensuring that our SMB clients achieve measurable success on the Walmart platform.


About the Role 

The Director of SMB will oversee the growth and management of SellCord’s SMB division, ensuring that our small and medium-sized clients receive top-tier support and guidance. You will lead a team of professionals dedicated to helping SMBs succeed, developing tailored strategies to drive their growth. This role requires a mix of strategic vision, hands-on management, and strong client relationship skills.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop SellCord’s SMB division, driving growth and ensuring excellence in service delivery.

  • Create and implement strategies that align with SMB clients’ goals and maximize their success on the Walmart platform.

  • Manage and mentor a team of Account Managers and specialists, fostering a high-performance culture.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with SMB clients, acting as their advocate within SellCord.

  • Oversee the development of customized solutions for SMB clients, leveraging SellCord’s proprietary tools and resources.

  • Analyze client performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and analytics, to ensure SMB client success.

  • Monitor industry trends and adjust strategies to keep SMB clients competitive in the marketplace.

  • Ensure compliance with Walmart’s policies and guidelines, providing clients with clear guidance.


Skills That Will Enable You to Thrive

  • 7+ years of experience in account management, business development, or client services, preferably in e-commerce or a related field.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading and growing teams.

  • Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by SMBs in the e-commerce space.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and develop actionable insights.

  • Familiarity with the Walmart platform and its ecosystem is a strong plus.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
