JOB SUMMARY:

The Director of Sales Operations is responsible for supporting the sales team by overseeing the integration and integrity of sales data, building and optimizing sales systems and processes, and providing critical sales analytics and customer insights. This role aims to improve the overall productivity and efficiency of the sales team, streamline operations, and provide actionable insights to drive sales performance.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes other duties as required):

1. Sales Data Integration and Integrity

  • Oversee the integration of sales data across platforms, ensuring data accuracy and consistency for reporting and decision-making.

2. Sales Systems and Processes Optimization

  • Develop and implement efficient sales processes and workflows.
  • Manage and improve sales systems, including Zoho CRM, weekly sales performance dashboards, and other key tools. Ensure seamless integration with other business systems.
  • Develop and manage weekly sales performance barometer to track and communicate sales progress.
  • In collaboration with channel leaders and VP of transformation, identify areas for improvement in the sales cycle, ensuring faster and more effective sales conversion.
  • Lead change management initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.

3. Data analysis, reporting, and translation of consumer / market insights into action

  • Analyze sales data and generate reports on performance, forecasts, and key performance metrics.
  • Develop and manage dashboards that track performance metrics, helping the sales team adjust strategies as needed.
  • Provide insights into sales trends, customer behavior, and market opportunities. Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies based on data-driven insights.

4. Sales Training and Enablement:

  • Work with marketing and sales leadership to ensure that the sales team has the resources, tools, and content needed to sell effectively.
  • Support training programs for new sales hires and ongoing development for existing team members.  

5. Targets & Territory Management:

  • Support the sales team with planning and target setting.
  • Monitor sales targets and progress toward achieving targets, adjusting as needed.
  • Support sales leaders in performance reviews and coaching by providing relevant data and analysis.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, and product teams to align sales strategies and optimize revenue generation.
  • Help prepare and support the QBR process to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

 

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding and experience of sales organization, processes, and pipeline management—as a former sales representative, account manager, and/or sales operations leader.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales performance tools such as Salesforce, Zoho CRM, etc.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Power BI, ClickIQ.).
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, finance, and operations teams.
  • Strong communication and training skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales, revenue operations or sales operations.

  • Occasionally climb stairs to multi-level work site.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Hybrid remote, Office

 

WORK HOURS:

  • Full-Time, Exempt: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
