Job Description:
Salad and Go is seeking a Director of IT Security, Infrastructure, and Operations to lead the strategy, execution, and oversight of all IT security, infrastructure, and operational functions for our multi-state restaurant chain and food production facilities. This role ensures the availability, reliability, and security of technology systems critical to supporting business operations and compliance.
As the Director of IT Security, Infrastructure, and Operations, you will be responsible for:
IT Security: Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., PCI). Monitor threats, mitigate risks, and oversee incident response.
Infrastructure Management: Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud platforms, and on-premises systems.
IT Operations: Oversee the performance, scalability, and availability of IT systems across restaurants and production facilities, ensuring business continuity and minimal downtime.
Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing IT team, fostering collaboration across departments to meet organizational goals.
Strategic Planning: Align IT infrastructure and operations with business objectives, proposing innovative solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Vendor & Budget Management: Negotiate vendor contracts, manage budgets, and ensure the delivery of cost-effective IT services.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, operations, and security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, IT governance, and compliance.
Strong knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, and enterprise-level IT systems.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
It would be great if you also have:
Experience in the restaurants or food production industry is a plus.
Worked extensively with Microsoft suite of tools
Familiarity with POS systems, Workday, and SAP ERP
A track record of thriving in organizations of different sizes and complexities
