We are seeking a visionary creative leader with a passion for driving business units forward in both capabilities and results. As the Director of Brand and Consumer Marketing, you will oversee a team of 10 marketers with responsibilities for brand strategy, graphic design and production, videography and photography and Texas Capital’s overall consumer line of business.
This role is responsible for the strategic creation of branding campaigns and proactive consumer campaigns that help Texas Capital meet their overall business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a mix of left-brain and right-brain abilities, being able to recognize opportunities to push a brand forward creatively, who can create efficiencies across multiple production groups and someone who can lean into the details of performance marketing campaigns regularly.
Responsibilities:
Craft and implement effective brand campaigns and marketing strategies to drive awareness and engagement with target audiences.
Create the annual brand promotional calendar, align cross-functional business partners and manage timelines and resources to achieve desired business goals.
Uncover audience insights and deliver break-through promotional brand and personal banking campaigns.
Leverage holistic understanding of market positioning and potential to define annualized campaigns.
Monitor the performance of the brand (B2B and B2C) through key performance indicators.
Work cross functionally across all marketing and line-of-business channels to ensure flawless execution of various channel-specific marketing campaigns.
Identify opportunities to engage our target market via contextually relevant content integrations.
Direct and motivate teams of creative and production teams to help them use their talents to effectively generate elevated marketing assets to continuously increase brand recognition and drive business objectives.
Developing go-to-market strategies for new Consumer Banking products and features, from product definition through launch and ongoing marketing strategy, in partnership with Product and Segmentation teams.
Developing core positioning and messaging for Consumer Banking product vertical, building on audience needs, market insights and segmentation.
Lead marketing research strategy for the organization to understanding business objectives and designing surveys to discover prospective customers’ preferences
Requirements:
12+ years’ combined experience in marketing, branding and media, and customer experience – financial services experience a plus
BBA in Marketing or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
Full understanding of marketing channels and amplification opportunities
Ability to process and make decisions based on data and set quantitative goals
Ability to build, motivate and lead a high performing team
Experience in media, corporate communication and/or agency backgrounds strongly preferred
Exceptional change agent skills that challenge the organization to drive innovation
Excellent communication, problem solving skills and ability to learn and adapt quickly
Ability to present the Texas Capital client experience vision, training and methodology throughout the organization
Ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organization
