Job Description

The Integration Program Director will facilitate and manage the integration of newly acquired companies into Wasserman, as well as connect and onboard both existing and new Wasserman Business Units. The role also involves enhancing tools and processes to improve integration efficiency. The Director will participate in the full M&A lifecycle, from Initial Offer to Post-Merger Integration. They will coordinate with various departments, processes, technologies, and business systems to ensure the objectives of each integration are met, and report on integration progress to key executive team members. In addition to M&A specific activities, the Director will support the COO in tracking, managing, and reporting on key business wide integration initiatives to ensure the successful implementation of the company's broader strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to ensure all business and process level requirements align with the defined scope and timelines for a seamless integration.
  • Analyze information returned through diligence on targets IT systems/infrastructure (including information security risks), business processes, and people/organizational structure to assess readiness and identify structural gaps to inform valuation.
  • Develop and manage the integration plan and budget, identify and track synergies, and understand the priorities, needs, and responsibilities of different workstreams while anticipating and resolving cross-functional interdependencies.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the M&A Committee meetings in order to ensure proper cross-functional communication and effective decision-making regarding Acquisition Integration activities.
  • Lead team members to execute Merger & Acquisition Integration initiatives efficiently.
  • Partner with stakeholders to evaluate the performance of new and existing systems and assets, recommending adjustments as needed.
  • Monitor the integration plan project status, manage risk, and oversee the issue and change resolution process, ensuring corrective actions are taken when necessary.
  • In collaboration with business leaders, develop and execute an effective change management strategy, which includes communication plans, training, and detailed onboarding activities to ensure newly acquired businesses quickly assimilate into the Wasserman ecosystem.
  • Keep Wasserman informed about M&A best practices, maintaining high performance levels and success rates in merger and acquisition activities.
  • During periods of low integration activity, proactively identify and lead transformation initiatives across the Company (including systems and processes).
  • Support the COO on tracking key business wide integration initiatives and lead on development of update materials for Wasserman ELT & Board.
  • Manage annual executive communications calendars, executive offsites, and bi-weekly management forums to ensure key integration updates and information is distributed appropriately.
  • Support the COO in identifying and managing solutions for filling key infrastructure gaps across the organization to ensure both existing and newly acquired businesses have access to key corporate services needed to deliver the business.

Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of project management experience, with a minimum of 5 years managing M&A projects in a global company
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Proven ability to oversee the entire M&A lifecycle, from Initial Offer to Post-Merger Integration
  • Skills in effective decision-making based on information analysis and successful execution of those decisions
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external business leaders across Finance, IT, Legal, HR, and Corporate Development functions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in creating reports and presenting findings to executive management
  • Experience managing external vendors and consultants effectively

Base salary range: $150K-$180K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.

Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
