Position Summary
Guggenheim Securities Information Management (“GSIM”) is seeking an experienced Head of Business Engagement to join its Information Management (“IM”) Leadership team.
Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, this person will be a strategic business partner who shares ownership for both technology strategy and business value results. They will own executive-level relationships and serves as a single point of focus, working to converge IM and business functions such as Banking, HR, finance, etc.
Essential Job Functions
- Act as a strategic business partner, sharing ownership for technology strategy and business outcomes.
- Break down silos separating technology and business functions to optimize cohesive effectiveness and jointly determine strategic direction.
- Lead a team of Business Relationship Managers and Business Analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, innovation, and value that reflects the business strategy.
- Identify business needs and objectives and translate into detailed requirements, articulating what success looks like and rallying team members to achieve it.
- Develop product positioning strategies and marketing campaigns to drive the successful adoption of new products.
- Identify business problems, analyze data, and work with the rest of the IM department to identify cost effective solutions.
- Liaise between groups and departments to ensure effective communication and implementation of business solutions.
- Partner with the project management organization (PMO) to ensure a healthy and well-managed initiative portfolio.
- Partner with business and technology leadership to plan new initiatives, evaluate proposals, and determine how they fit into roadmaps and priorities.
- Be creative and innovative with regards to your knowledge and awareness of industry trends and digital advances as they relate to new opportunities and business needs.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- 15+ years of experience working in customer facing roles, developing relationships and delivering customer value.
- In depth experience of product management is a must.
Work Location
- Currently, this role is expected to be in the New York office Tuesday through Thursday.
Salary
- Annual base salary between $225,000 - 250,000.
- The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
