Job Summary

PHP Agency, LLC. is on the hunt for a dynamic Senior Marketing Executive to fill the role of AVP of Operations at our Dallas headquarters. This hands-on role requires a marketing maestro with a broad skill set, from corporate reputation management to digital marketing and event planning. As a key player in a flat organization, you’ll be expected to roll up your sleeves, lead a team of SMEs, and deliver projects personally.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Steer the company’s daily operations, leading the New Business Life & Annuity, Licensing & Contracting, and Contact Center departments.

  • Innovate by identifying and implementing new processes, technologies, and systems to enhance organizational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with department leads to define and implement operational strategy and structure.

  • Foster productive relationships with external insurance carrier and technology partners.

  • Work with executive leadership to set and achieve company goals, providing expertise on operational projects and systems.

  • Monitor performance, identify efficiency issues, and propose solutions.

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all operational phases.

  • Coordinate operational support across the business.

  • Collaborate with HR to recruit, train, and mentor the operations management team.

  • Present performance reports and metrics to C-level Officers and other leaders.

  • Handle employee discipline and termination in accordance with company policy, in collaboration with HR.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in operations management.

  • Identify training needs and ensure appropriate training is provided.

  • Foster a success-oriented, hands-on environment in Operations.

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop metrics, systems, and processes to support the company’s growth objectives.

  • Serve as a leader of all PHP administrative functions, with the potential to lead Operations.

Primary Skills & Requirements:

  • 6+ years of operational leadership experience, preferably in the life insurance industry.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field preferred.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Proven track record of managing a team and developing talent.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build consensus in a high-pressure environment.

  • Analytical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to ensure goals are met on time and at a high level of quality.

  • Ability to drive results, ensure accountability, build effective teams, cultivate innovation, and handle adversity.

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of fundamental business principles.

  • Solid executive presence, with the ability to establish credibility and influence a broad range of constituents.

  • Quick learner, intelligent, practical, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
